Dr. Ruth Weinberg is Head of the Breast Diseases Divison and the Gynecologic Laparoscopic Surgery Division at the Eva Perón Hospital, Buenos Aires. Dr Weinberg is gynecologist certified by the National Ministry of Health and the Medical College of the Province of Buenos Aires, recertified by the Argentine Medical Association and the Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Buenos Aires Province. She is also certified as laparoscopic surgeon by the Argentine Society of Laparoscopic Surgery. She started at the Eva Perón Hospital in 1973 as a resident, then Head of Residents and since then is a member of staff.  Dr. Weinberg is a medical graduate  of the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Gynecology  at the same University since 1983. She is member of the Argentine Society of Laparoscopic Surgery since its foundation in 1994 and member of the Argentine Society of Mastology and of the Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Buenos Aires Province. Author of 40 national and international papers, she received the “Ramón Carrillo” award in 1994 for a research work and a Diploma of Honor due  to her activity in research. Foreign visitor to the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University and to the European Center for Training in Laparoscopy of the University of Clermont-Ferrand in France where she completed her training as laparoscopic surgeon. Yearly invited to  Conferences in USA . Dr Weinberg has also her private practice and performs the gynecologic surgeries at the best private hospitals in Buenos Aires
